Lake Charles, Louisiana: Lee Mallett, well-established businessman in Southwest Louisiana, Lake Charles Region, was reappointed to the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors (LSLBC) as of November 8, 2019. Mallett was originally appointed to the State Licensing Board for Contractors by Gov. Jindal in 2010.

 

The LSLBC was created in 1956. The purpose of the agency is “the protection of the general public from incompetent and fraudulent acts of a contractor while promoting the integrity of the construction industry,” according to their website.

 

The Board consists of nineteen Commercial members appointed by the Governor and five Residential Subcommittee members. Mallett is extremely excited to continue serving on the LSLBC.
